The South Huntington Water District has provided residents and businesses with a plentiful supply of clean, high quality water that meets or surpasses all New York State and federal standards since our inception in 1925.
Today, we live in a water conscious world where demand has never been higher, where conservation is a way of life and where long-term sustainability is a must. As stewards of the public trust and the environment, our goal of the South Huntington Water District is to ensure that our growing number of customers always receive an uninterrupted supply of this most precious of resources, as well as exemplary service and exceptionally low water rates. And we are proud to have won the Best Tasting Water Contest more times than any other local water district.
